Description
Ermai Waterfall is a hidden waterfall located at the foothills of the Ballalarayana Durga range of the Western Ghats. This is a multi-layered waterfall that slides down the rocky terrain from 75 feet. It forms a 5 feet deep pool at the bottom where tourists can swim or play with water. However, avoid getting too close to waterfalls during monsoon as the water level tends to increase along with strong currents. Don’t climb without the guidance of locals or experienced trekkers as plenty of people have lost their life.
Apart from this, if you are an adventure freak then you can even climb up to different levels of Ermai falls. Usually, you will spot a few of them sitting behind waterfalls and clicking some great pics by making a climb till the middle layer. But, be careful and watch out every step you take as the rocks here are slippery and covered with moss. In fact, don’t climb without the guidance of locals or experienced trekkers as plenty of people have lost their life.

Day 1- 7:30Am ( reach the stay area and have breakfast.)

1:30 Pm (reach certain distance and have lunch which is packed)
3:00 Am (reach the top of the hill and enjoy the view and beauty of nature)
6:30 Pm ( back to the stay area and enjoy the activities and campfire)
8:30 Pm ( have dinner (veg food) )
After dinner accommodation in homestay .
